We have lost great deal of machines in past few months. Dropped from total of 40 crackers which about 35 were stable down to 10. Now we have re-opened the submittion, 2 hashes every 15 minutes, possibly more in future. All help we can get is welcome, read Faq 6 before though. All currently submitted hashes statuses should normalize within 24 hours.

Server software is now ported to linux and we have moved both the cracking server and web server on a new linux machine

A lot of time has passed since our last real update. Cracking server software has had 2 previous rewrites, but now we decided to start documenting updates:

New server is now rewritten in c++ using multithreading technology and is expected to be much more responsive than previous server versions, thus we can support even more clients. Client-server protocol has also been improved to be more efficient and improved to allow our clients to make custom precomputed wordlist lookup from gigabytes of words within seconds.

We have also removed the need for clients to update their charsets as it is done automatically now.
Client can now in addition to rainbowtables search wordlists. Wordlist searching supports multithreading Client , it also has memory limiting capabilities and benchmark feature which will send us benchmark speeds which allows us to make more accurate calculations for distributing rainbowtables.

Website is now more comfortable to all LM hash searchers, both halves are on same line and results are now automatically case corrected by ntlm hash when both halves are found. The percentage view of overall progress is removed due to overhead it added to protocol, confusion it (understandably) created in many users and simply the lack of need for it.
